The APC national leader describes reports that he sought to ban Ajimobi from rallies is not true
The national leader of (APC), Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu, late Monday, March 4 reacted to report that he allegedly banned Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state from campaigning for the party.
The national described Ajimobi as his partner and not rival adding his intervention in Oyo APC is to engender
genuine reconciliation not to hide or supplant the Governor.
“The dread is that Ajimobi’s appearance at Adelabu’s battle energizes will harm for the gathering. Indeed, there is a jingle of the gathering asking the general population, clarifying that Ajimobi, not the gathering, is the fall fellow. Since the presidential and national gathering decisions, Adelabu has been crusading alone — without the Governor’s association.”
In the said jingle, tuned in to by SaharaReporters, APC “asked” all indigenes of the state for the sake of God and in the names of conspicuous Yoruba children, for example, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, previous Governor Bisi Akande and Tinubu. The gathering likewise referenced President Muhammadu Buhari and Adams Oshiomhole as asking the general population, and explicitly rebuked Ajimobi for his pride in affronting the Olubadan of Ibadan, among numerous different offenses.
With Alao-Akala’s withdrawal for Adelabu, Tinubu has just picked up advance into Ogbomosho, where the gathering couldn’t battle in front of the February 23 decisions.
